Dreaming of.......My wardrobe

We all love a good wish list....today's wish list is all about fashion and clothes I am lusting after.

I haven't bought any clothes since my holiday at the start of May, and I am now having serious withdrawal symptoms.

Our wedding is next month so I am on a strict spending ban and the moment and only purchasing pretty things for the big day at the moment, don't get me wrong this is still lots and lots of fun. However, I just cant resist a bit of online window shopping and I am finding myself dreaming about my summer wardrobe. Here is what those dreams are made of..............

fashion wishlist

I have fallen in love with 'In Love with Fashion' have a lot at their online shop here. I promise this is not sponsored I just adore there clothes, its all floral and pastels so you cant blame me. I can feel a big order coming on after the wedding. My excuse is I need honey moon clothes, even though its not till November.

I also love this floral dress from Boohoo, its just so me. Collar, check, mint green, check, floral check!

Okay so hopefully it wont be coat weather for much longer, but I still need a pink coat in my life.

Finally I cant resist a good motif tee that makes me giggle.

Have a lovely weekends beauts.... Mwahhhh

Spring Fashion Haul

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend, mine has mostly consisted of studying for my open university exams in a few weeks, socialising with friends and family, wedding planning and eating.

So, its been a jammed packed weekend...oh and some how I managed to fit in a spot of shopping, so I am treating you to a little fashion haul.

I didn't buy everything at once,  although it has been known in the past, but I am 'supposed' to be saving at the moment. Anyway  this is a collective haul of a few bits and bobs I have picked up over the last weeks in preparation for my holiday to Dubai next week.

Be prepared for lots of pastels and floral patterns coming your way.

These adorable floral dungarees were £9 from Primark. I saw them the other day in Primark and literally did a little gasp, ran and grabbed them, I just thought they looked so cute and pretty and I think they would go perfectly with a white shirt. Literally cant wait to wear these.

Sticking with the floral theme my next purchase from Primark was this lovely colourful floral shirt. Like the play suit above I just couldn't resit this, its a beautiful minty green shade which is my favourite colour to wear in the spring summer, it a collared shirt which I love and it has flowers, what more could a girl want. This cute shirt cost me £12.

Then I popped these light weight polka dot shorts in my basket. I love polka dots and again I would team this with a shirt or a peter pan collared top. For £5 I couldnt resist and I had to have them for my holiday.

Finally from Primark is this polka dot denim skater dress which cost £12. I love skater style dress they are really comfortable and easy to wear. Again more polka dots, I have worn this a few times already and really like this dress. I feel very Kate Middy in this.

Next up is a lovely blue summer dress from Topshop. I purchased this with a voucher I got for my birthday and I was inspired to buy this by Laura over at buy now blog later. This is a beautiful shade for summer. This dress is slightly too big for me so I would add a brown belt to give it some definition. I cant find this online at the moment but it cost £34.

Now I have a few bits from MissGuided which has quickly become my favourite online shop, there are so many pretty clothes I would love to add to my wardrobe, however I managed to resist and just get a few things.  The first thing I bought was this blue and white mini dress you can find it here. It was £19.99 and I love the pretty pattern on this dress.

Then I got this lemon yellow curve hem skirt, this would go really nicely with a white shirt or vest top. I don't own very much yellow clothing so I am really looking forward to brightening up my summer wardrobe. You can find this skirt here for £14.99.

So I have yet another pastel blue dress, can you see a trend going on in this haul. This blue and white contrast dress will be perfect for my holiday, whether is a day of shopping or a spot of lunch in the sunshine. This dress was a bargain at £19.99, I think dress looks much more then small price tag, there is somethung very Zara like about it, you can get yours here.

Finally from Miss guided is this lilac tailored coat, I have been desperate for a pastel coat for so long now and I instantly fell in love with this beautiful coat, and I got even more excited when I saw it was only £34, most of the long pastel coats I had seen were going to cost me upwards of £70 so for under half the price I was instantly sold, and well its just so pretty. Unfortunately the purple shade is currently out of stock but you can get it in pink or brown here, I am so tempted to purchase the pink shade too, but for now I will resist temptation.

Finally is a really sweet pale pink dress with a white collar from BooHoo. Remember what I was saying about collars? I am literally obsessed. This a great dress for a summer day or with black tights and ballerina pumps for a day in the office. I cant find the orginal dress on the boohoo website, but here is a very similar design.

So there you have it, my spring fashion haul, all ready for my summer holiday. Now I have snapped everything up I off to pack my suit case and hide my bank card somewhere to stop me spending. Wish me Luck.

Thank for reading

Oscar's best dressed 2014

So after a month or so of award season best dressed post here it is the big one, the night all other award ceremony’s lead up to, The Oscars and the star did not disappoint.

I thought about dressing in my finest for the occasion and enjoy the red carpet really feeling the part, but in all honestly I was in my onsie drinking hot chocolate. At least I was comfy.

I stayed up as late as I could to watch E live from the red carpet I caught a glimpse of some of the big names in tinsel town as they graced the awards. I desperately wanted to stay up and watch the full ceremony but my eyes just didn’t let me.

So here were my favourite picks of the name, I could include so many as there really were some beautiful gowns and dresses but I have narrowed it down to the ones who really stood out to me.
So drum roll please………

Lupita Nyong'o
First up comes as no surprise she has been on every single one of my best dressed posts recently.

Lupita has shown up on the red carpet in a beautiful array of colourful dresses and the Oscars was no exception.

Lupida wore a powder blue dress by Prada. This dress was designed soecidically for Lupita.  When Lupita was interviewed on the red carpet said she choose this colour as it reminded her of her home county stating she ‘wanted to bring a bit of home’ with her, very fitting sentiment I think.

Lupita said the dress was inspired by the design of a champagne glass filled with bubbles. This colour just looks perfect with her skin tone. I think this dress is perfect for the Oscar's it really reminds me of a fairy tale dress, very Cinderella esq.

Also the headband? Ok not everyone will be a fan but I think it looks so pretty and delicate,  it gives her short cut a feminine touch and hint of sparkle. I love that she is having fun with this look.

Lupita has really been the one to watch on the red carpet she has made sure all eyes are firmly on her with an exquisite selection of dresses; my favourite was the red cape dress and I am sure there are going to be many more fabulous red carpet moments from Lupita.

Kate Hudson

I adore this Versace gown that Kate wore to the Oscars, I think it was a really red carpet wow moment and has a really old fashioned Hollywood glam feel to it. This dress has everything I love in fashion, cape detail, low back and shoulder pads. In my eyes this dress is perfect and she looks stunning.

Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer hit the red carpet is another beautiful Dior dress, this bold red strapless dress was made especially for Jennifer and it is the perfect style and pick for her. I think the peplum detail gives the structure something extra. I love the back necklace she added to give the whole look a bit of sparkle. I also actually love she had another little tumble on the red carpet, she really is your girl next door and seems so genuine abs down to earth, I am a bit fan of J-law.

So there is my final best dressed post from this seasons awards, I loved doing this 'best dressed' series it's been really fun doing some more fashion focused posts.

I would love to know who your best dressed star of the night was.

Thanks for reading beauts

Sunday Favourites

Ok it's 12:10 am so it's technically Monday but here are my Sunday favourites.

Me and Gary have probably had the laziest Sunday ever. I spent all day on the sofa watching films, drinking hot chocolate, nibbling on chocolate, reading Cosmo, watching the Kardashian's and Towie, double reality whammy, and yes I love them both please don't judge! I even managed to have two naps, that's right two I can't even remember the last time I did that, but now I am annoyingly wide awake so fool me.

Enough chit chat from me here are favourite pins and inspiration this week.

Style inspiration
I was doing my usual style inspiration searching and pinning when I came across this beauty. When it comes to personal style this is just me all over, preppy style, cute girly bow tie, collar, buttoned shirt and cardigan....I need this combo in my life.

Ring stacking
I am loving the stacked ring look at the moment. I have never been a huge necklace kind of girl so have always focused on the wrist and hand candy. I love the whole midi ring look and definitely want to build up my collection a little bit more.

The beach
I don't know about anyone else but I am so over winter weather, I need sunshine and spring time in life. With better weather comes days at the seaside.  I can't wait to get sand in my toes and dip my feet in the sea, wouldn't mind fitting some of these super cute pastel beach huts either.

Margot Robbie
I think I have a new girl crush, Margot Robbie. This women is beautiful and I am lusting over her style and beauty looks at the moment.

Daniel Wellington Watch
No I don't need any more watches, but I would very much like this one to add to my collection please?

Thanks for reading Beauts I hope you had a great weekend. Let me know some of your favourites of the week, I love reading your comments.

Baftas Best dressed

I have spent another Sunday watching E live from the red carpet taking note of my best dressed stars of the night, and this time I did not have to stay up till all hours waiting for coverage from the USA, therefore I could go to bed at a reasonable time, but here I am blogging away to all of you, much better then sleeping.

I won't ramble too long this time so here are my favourite looks of the night.

Lupita Nyong'o

This women can do no wrong her colourful array of gowns have wowed on the red carpet this award season, and she did not disappoint at the Baftas. Lupita looked stunning in this bright green Dior Couture gown. I adore the dramatic train on this dress it looks so elegant and graceful, and by adding coordinated gold metallic accessories it gives this look a stylish finish. Lupita just looks exquisite, this gown fits her like a glove and her makeup looks flawless and glowing. She just looks perfect, and I Lupita is swiftly becoming my favourite red carpet fashionista.

Amy Adam's

My next pick of the night is Amy Adams in Victoria Beckham. I am huge fan of the VB range and Mrs Beckhams style in general so it's no wonder this beautiful black ensemble caught my little eye. I love a good collar and the tailoring of this dress looks so glamours yet sophisticated on Amy. I think she just looks fabulous, big fan of this detailed piece. Now if only I could afford a VB dress for my own wardrobe I would be a very happy girl.

Angelina Jolie

Angelina shocked and wowed the red carpet stepping out with partner Brad Pitt in matching black tuxedos. Angelina made a daring move swapping a floor length leg baring dress for this open bow tied look and I have to say I think she looks incredible, (and I was always team Jen so this a big statement for moi). I love the tailored shirt look its sophisticated but with a sexy and original twist. Actually I am just going to have to say it.....she looks gorgeous, this is the perfect look on Angelina, they were defintley the best dressed couple to grace the red carpet.

Samantha Barks
Samantha Barks looks radiant in this striking vanilla nude Calvin Klien strapless peice. The dress was simple and classic yet stunning and I think by adding a statement necklace she really stood out, she looks impeccable and I love the updo hair and glowing makeup.

Tanya Burr
Finally I had to add The beauty blogger and YouTube sensation Tanya Burr. There I was scrolling through articles of the dresses of the night when up popped Miss Tanya Burr in this delightful buttercup yellow Coast one shouldered gown and she looks beautiful.  I even did a little excited scream when I saw her, bexause as crazy as it sounds I warch Tanya ob youtube so much feel like I know her and she is a friend, I suppose that is what a YouTube obsession does to you.  This dress looks perfect on her, the colour is ideal shade for her auburn brown locks. she just looks beautiful.
I think Tanya is such an inspiration it's so amazing to see how hard she has worked to make a name for herself in the beauty world. It's incredible to see someone from the beauty blogging world achieving thier dreams, it really inspires me to keep following mine, who knows maybe one day I might make it to an award show, a girl can dream.  Actually I have another Tanya Burr related post coming your way later this week, can you guess what it's about?

So that's it my round up of my favourite dresses and looks from the Bafta's this year, I am now sitting patiently waiting for the big Oscar night in two weeks, I have the popcorn ready.

Thanks for reading lovelies, I would lreally love to hear your thoughts on the Bafta's fashion this year.

Best dressed screen actors guild awards

So last night I was once again glued to  E watching another live from the red carpet swooning at the beautiful fashion. This weeks ceremony was The Screen Actor Guild Awards' or SAGS for short, where the awards are voted for by fellow actors and actresses.

So here is a round up of my favourite dresses and gowns that graced the red carpet. Once again there was such an array of beautiful and exquisite dresses it was hard to pick just a handful but there were definitely a few stand out looks for me.

My favourite look of the night was the beautiful Cate Blanchett. This stunning draped soft pink Givenchy gown looks so elegant and breathe taking on her, I can't even put into words how perfect I think this dress looks on her. Then can I please just take a minute to swoon at her make up and hair, the combination of her simple pretty pink make up and loose low bun is just perfection.

Next up is Jennifer Lawrence in this stunning Doir glittery navy strapless gown. I think this looks Devine on Jennifer, she looks so graceful and feminine. I think this is a great look on her and I have to say she is swiftly becoming my favourite personality on the red carpet, she comes across so down to earth and isn't afraid to be herself, loving her right now.

Well Lupita Nyong'o has certainly made sure all eyes are on her this red carpet and she is working the carpet like a pro. She wowed the fashion world with her red caped Ralf Lauren dress last week,  and she did not disappoint at the SAG awards with this stunning turquoise Gucci gown. This colour looks amazing on her and she really had the wow factor last night in this bright coloured dress with matching makeup.

Finally I couldn't forget Sofia Vergara. I think this Donna Karen shimmery strapless and backless sequin dress is the perfect dress for her beautiful curvacious body. I am in love with incredibly sexy dress on her.

So that's my favourites from the Screen Actors guild awards, next weekend is the Grammies and I cannot wait to see what the stars bull of there wardrobes.

Thanks for reading lovelies, if you had any favourite looks of the night I would love to hear.
