Spring Fashion Haul

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend, mine has mostly consisted of studying for my open university exams in a few weeks, socialising with friends and family, wedding planning and eating.

So, its been a jammed packed weekend...oh and some how I managed to fit in a spot of shopping, so I am treating you to a little fashion haul.

I didn't buy everything at once,  although it has been known in the past, but I am 'supposed' to be saving at the moment. Anyway  this is a collective haul of a few bits and bobs I have picked up over the last weeks in preparation for my holiday to Dubai next week.

Be prepared for lots of pastels and floral patterns coming your way.

These adorable floral dungarees were £9 from Primark. I saw them the other day in Primark and literally did a little gasp, ran and grabbed them, I just thought they looked so cute and pretty and I think they would go perfectly with a white shirt. Literally cant wait to wear these.

Sticking with the floral theme my next purchase from Primark was this lovely colourful floral shirt. Like the play suit above I just couldn't resit this, its a beautiful minty green shade which is my favourite colour to wear in the spring summer, it a collared shirt which I love and it has flowers, what more could a girl want. This cute shirt cost me £12.

Then I popped these light weight polka dot shorts in my basket. I love polka dots and again I would team this with a shirt or a peter pan collared top. For £5 I couldnt resist and I had to have them for my holiday.

Finally from Primark is this polka dot denim skater dress which cost £12. I love skater style dress they are really comfortable and easy to wear. Again more polka dots, I have worn this a few times already and really like this dress. I feel very Kate Middy in this.

Next up is a lovely blue summer dress from Topshop. I purchased this with a voucher I got for my birthday and I was inspired to buy this by Laura over at buy now blog later. This is a beautiful shade for summer. This dress is slightly too big for me so I would add a brown belt to give it some definition. I cant find this online at the moment but it cost £34.

Now I have a few bits from MissGuided which has quickly become my favourite online shop, there are so many pretty clothes I would love to add to my wardrobe, however I managed to resist and just get a few things.  The first thing I bought was this blue and white mini dress you can find it here. It was £19.99 and I love the pretty pattern on this dress.

Then I got this lemon yellow curve hem skirt, this would go really nicely with a white shirt or vest top. I don't own very much yellow clothing so I am really looking forward to brightening up my summer wardrobe. You can find this skirt here for £14.99.

So I have yet another pastel blue dress, can you see a trend going on in this haul. This blue and white contrast dress will be perfect for my holiday, whether is a day of shopping or a spot of lunch in the sunshine. This dress was a bargain at £19.99, I think dress looks much more then small price tag, there is somethung very Zara like about it, you can get yours here.

Finally from Miss guided is this lilac tailored coat, I have been desperate for a pastel coat for so long now and I instantly fell in love with this beautiful coat, and I got even more excited when I saw it was only £34, most of the long pastel coats I had seen were going to cost me upwards of £70 so for under half the price I was instantly sold, and well its just so pretty. Unfortunately the purple shade is currently out of stock but you can get it in pink or brown here, I am so tempted to purchase the pink shade too, but for now I will resist temptation.

Finally is a really sweet pale pink dress with a white collar from BooHoo. Remember what I was saying about collars? I am literally obsessed. This a great dress for a summer day or with black tights and ballerina pumps for a day in the office. I cant find the orginal dress on the boohoo website, but here is a very similar design.

So there you have it, my spring fashion haul, all ready for my summer holiday. Now I have snapped everything up I off to pack my suit case and hide my bank card somewhere to stop me spending. Wish me Luck.

I <3 Stationary

Ok so I have a weakness when it comes to shopping and spending, and this weekend I had a particular weakness for cute girly stationary. I am such a geek and get so excited about stationary, it's a problem but I love it.

I am currently planning my wedding (I may have mentioned it a couple of times) so I wanted to get a few bits and bobs to organise all my wedding plans and pictures into one place. I am such a perfectionist and hate all my stuff being disordered so I was on an organisation project this weekend, I was a women on a mission.

My mission took me to wilkinson and I fell in love with beau chic stationary range, it's a really cute mint green and baby pink collection with a Paris theme design. I don't know what it is but anything related to Paris I want it, my apartment has got a Paris decor theme going on so this collection caught my eye instantly. The colours are so pretty and feminine and thought they would look so chic on my desk.

So here is what I got:

A5 Beau chic notebook for £1.00

Wilko Beau Chic Ring Binder j'aime Paris Design Multi-Coloured for £1.50

Wilko Beau Chic Writing & Stationary Set for £2.50

Beau chic pencil tin with flowers for £1.50

2x Paris and flowers plastic folder, I can't find these online or my receipt but I think they were less than £1.00

Than I bought some love heart post it notes, my house in covered in post on notes. Finally some coloured sticky tabs.

All together I spend a tiny £9.80 which I think is bargain for all the lovely little things I got, you can your here at http://www.wilko.com/stationery-collections/beau-chic-stationery/icat/beau-chic-stationery

I really love my beautiful finds I think they so cute and pretty and can't wait to start using them, I know I know, I am such a geek.

Let me know if you also get excited about stationary and organisation, hopefully I am not the only one.

Bath and Bodyworks Haul

Good evening ladies (and gentlemen), I hope your having a lovely week. Tonight I wanted to share with you a bit of a haul from Bath and Body works. I am literally obsessed with candles, I always have a couple burning around my flat, I love having an array of scents filling my home. Now before I start, annoyingly they don't have a UK based store, come on bath and body works sort it out! So i have to stock up on my trips to Dubai to see my dad.

Here is a little bit about the famous BBW candles from their website:

The world's best candle guaranteed! Radiates enough fragrance to fill a room. Wax melts consistently & evenly. Flames won't burn out!
Made using the highest concentration of fragrance oils, an exclusive blend of vegetable wax and lead-free wicks for optimal performance.
3-wick candle burns approximately 30 to 45 hours.
Includes elegant silver lid to keep your fave fragrance fresh, while adding a touch of décor

Sounds pretty good eh? I love BBW candles they are my favourite candle brand, Yankee being a close second. I just find them very reasonably priced and smell incredible. So enough chit chat, here is what I picked up from the summer collection.

I bought 3 of the larger three wick candles they are normally $20, so around £12.50 and they quite often have deals on so you can get them a bit cheaper. On this occasion these were buy two get one free so of course I had to get three. The first was an eye catching bright orange peach Bellini candle. The scent is described as classic Italian cocktail with a twist which mixes bubbly white peach, tart blackcurrant, jasmine and a splash of juicy orange. It really smell does good enough to eat, but I won't don't worry!!

The second candle I picked up was Paris Amour, this a more floral fragrance and I was instantly attracted to this romantic infusion, the scent is described as a blend of French tulips and apple blossoms tickled with notes of sparkling pink champagne. Sounds like the perfect summer night fragrance.

The final three wick candle I bought was Twilight Woods. This was another floral based scent which is so unlike me as I normally sway towards fruity or vanilla sweet scents. But this just smelt so good I couldn't resist. The scent is described as hypnotic blend of apricot nectar, sweet mimosa petals and Tuscan cypress.

I also bought some fragrance plugs for my wall flowers, I know there are plenty of fragrance plugs available in the UK, I just find these wall flowers are so strong you can smell them as soon as you walk into the room. This time I got sweet pea and honey suckle. So a nice mix of floral and sweet smells. These cost $3 so that only £1.88 a bulb and they literally last around 6 weeks, so an absolute bargain.

Finally I bought myself some soap. I am a bit of a germ freak and always carry anti bacteria gel in my bag. So these mini pocket sized anti-bac tubes are perfect for a clean freak like me. Again they are very cheap at $1.75 so that a tiny £1.09, and look really cute with the colourful formula and packaging. I went for the Paris Amore scent and the strawberry scent. I also got a full sized bottle of the foaming hand soap which smells incredible and the scent lasts on your hands for hours.

So there it is my bath and body works haul, I love all my purchases I just wish they were available here in the UK. I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know if you have tried any BBW products? Let me know what you think if you have tried any.

Lush Haul

Hi everyone, so I went on a bit of an online Lush spending spree last week so I thought I would share my purchases with you. As I am sure most of you know by now have a slight obsession with Lush. I love a good Lush bath and I find Lush products are perfect for a bit of relaxation and pampering.

So here goes, the first thing I added to my basket was Karma bubble bar (£3.50). I have never tried this bubble bar before but I was drawn in by the bright sunny colours. This bar will 'expand your mind with a hippy trippy that envelops you in an orange haze of heady scents' as you probably guessed the main scent from this bubble bar is orange and it smells delicious. I can't wait to use this bubble bar.

The second product is 'Honey I washed the kids' (£3.40 for 100g) this Lush's best selling soap, and I can see why. This soap smell irresistible with it delicious blend of honey, carmel and toffee scent, now doesn't that sound yummy? I have put this in my shower straight away and love it, not on,y does it smell great but it lathers up really well and leaves my skin soft and moisturised.

Next on my Lush list is the ' Twilight' bath bomb ( £3.20)This must be about my 5th twilight bath bomb it's one of my favourite, I am a troubled sleeper and I find this lavender scented bomb is great way to relax and unwind before heading to bed. It's also really fun to watch explode in your bath, the pink exterior turns your bath a bright pink but then has an added twist of blue shades along with some sparkly glitter, it's actually like watching a firework go off in your bed. Yes, I know I sound like a child but its so fun to watch, once I use it I promise to post some piccys.

Next I went for a French kiss (£4.99) a bath bomb that is. This is another lavender scented product to help send me to the land of nod. I have never tried this before but as soon as I opened my Lush delivery I could smell this product straight away and the scent is so calming but not overwhelming. Lush says this bar will fill your bath with a mountain of foam, I can't wait to try it.

On to another bubble bar I went for 'Dorothy' (£2.99). This bubble bar will not only turn your bath blue, but it will send you 'over the rainbow'. This bar contains yin yang oil and orange flower, it smells lovely and fresh and I can't wait it try this.

Next I bought porridge soap (£2.95 for 100g). This oaty porridge bar of soap caught my eye as it is supposed to be good for exfoliating sensitive skin, I haven't tried this yet as I am going to use my sugar crush scrub at the moment. I have had a good sniff of this soap though and as corny as it sounds it brought me back to my childhood and eating porridge for my breakfast on a cold Scottish morning, so I am really looking forward to see how this works on my skin.

Finally I got egg hunt soap, which was a limited edition from the spring/ Easter collection. Now the whole soap looks amazing, and it's colourful array of eggs isn't translated as well in a single peice so I have also added a photo of the full bar so you can see why it caught my eye. It's smells lovely too with its raspberry aroma. Unfortunately this is know longer available but I am sure it will return with next years Easter collection.

So there it is my Lush Haul, I hope you enjoyed reading it, I would love to hear about your favourite products.

Boots Haul

So if you haven't already guessed by the title...I went shopping to Boots this weekend. I had been eyeing up some high street/ drug store make up so was ready for a Boots splurge. Now being the responsible adult I am, I am quite strict with myself , because Boots always have some kind offer on I only allow myself  to buy products when they are on offer, make up offers are usually 3 for 2 or buy one get one half price.
Now there is no way of sugar coating it, i did my usual and spent too much, but I made a saving of £30.45 with all the products on offer, so i have managed to convince myself I actually saved money. I have a way if justifying my spending habits. So here is a quick look at what I bought. Once I have used the products more I will do some in depth reviews and let you know what I think of them.
Now here is what I originally went shopping for, the L'Oreal Glam Shine Stain Splash. I had read  numerous reviews on these new lip stains and they have been described as a dupe for the YSL glossy stains, which I love but, only own one as I can't bring myself to pay that much money for a lip stain. So I couldn't wait to get my hands on these little beauties. The only negative was the colour range, lots of the colours were quite similar or two orange toned for my skin but, I do love the colours I did select. These were £7.99 each and were in a buy 3 for 2 offer, so of course I got 3, got to add I think the packaging is amazing and much more high end then the £7.99 price tag.

The next products I picked up were from the Revlon Nearly Naked range. Again I have heard a lot of good reviews about this range, and I was in the market fora light coverage foundation as my skin is the best it's been in years ( I will do a skin care post soon and revel all my skin care secrets). I got the colour shell for the foundation and light in the powder. The foundation was £8.99 and the compact powder was £6.99 but, the revlon offer was buy one get one half price.

Sticking with Revelon I bought 3 of the Revlon, just bitten kissable lip stain. Now I messed up a little here and bought 3 so I didn't get the full potential of the Revelon offer, quite annoyed with myself for this little slip up. Anyway the lip stains are £7.99 and has a really good colour selection. I went for darling a lilac shade, love sick a bright pink, fuchsia and finally cherish a baby pink shade. I can't wait to try these, I switched them last night and loved all three colours.

Then I moved over to Maybelline who also had 3 for 2 on products, and yes I got slightly carried away over here at the Maybelline station. I picked up 5, yes 5 of the colour tattoos. I had used up the back to bronze one I bought in the states as I used it nearly every day. I love the colour tattoos because you can you them as a base colour or as you full eye shadow and blend it out, and for £4.99 they are a total bargain.

Then I bought myself  two of the falsies mascara which is amazing, I am sure I don't need to explain about this product as its been raved about in the blogging and beauty world, but I do love it a d use it all the time as it really gives my lashes volume and length. So I decided to stock up while they were on offer.

Next I bought the Bourjoris magic nail polish remover which cost £4.99. I have to admit this was an impulse buy, I was intrigued to see if the product did as it said. Also I am very lazy with nail polish removal so seemed like a good idea. Will let you know what I think. I bought two Essie  nail polishes, both were light nude colours, Figi and Ballett slipper.

Finally I stocked up on some soap and glory products, again these were 3 for 2, I haven't used any of these yet but will blog my thoughts in a few weeks, but can I just say, omg sugar crush is possibly the most amazing smelling product ever, it's sugary and fruity and smalls Devine and very yummy, hence why I bought two.  Can't wait to try.

So I think that's everything from my make up splurge I will let you know what I think about all the different products very soon. I had wanted some back up Rimmel wake me up foundation but there. Was no offs on Rimmel so I am going to be very good and wait.

Primark Haul

Last week I went shopping and picked up some really nice bits from primark. I really enjoy primark hauls that other bloggers do, probably because Primark are one of the few shops without an online shop, so I am always interested to see what peices and items are on offer. So I thought I would share with you some of the clothes and accessories I found. Primark have just realised thier spring collection, and I was really impressed there was some really pretty peices. I saw a few dresses and shirts I liked but I managed to control my spending....well to some degree anyway.

I had been eyeing up this gorgeous gold/ bronze kimono since Christmas, but I just wasn't sure what I would wear it with, but this time I saw it had gone down to £10 so I could resist. There was a choice between white or gold. Even though the white kimono was very pretty, I just think the gold stands out more, and my wardrobe is full of blacks and whites so thought I should throw in a bit of colour. I think this will look really nice with disco pants or leggings and a black top.
The next item that caught my eye was this blue striped collared dress. I love the colour and the bow detail on the pockets. It was £10 which I think is a bargain. I think I will team this outfit with a jumper or cardigan till the weather improves. I defiantly think this might be in my suitcase when I go on my summer holiday too.
The next dress I found was this navy dress, I love the skater style skirt on this dress and find it very flattering. I actually wore this out on Friday night when me and Gary went out for some drinks. I accessorised the dress with a navy pin stripe blazer, brown shoes and rose gold jewellery. This dress was also £13, I think it is a great dress because it can be a day or evening dress.

This is the last dress I bought, I love how feminine this dress is. I think the bow print is really cute. Again this was £13 and I think it's really versatile and can be worn in a variety or ways.
I also managed to slip these beauties into my basket (which was getting rather full now). They were reduced in the sale from £10 to £6, so how could I not get them? I really like the peach colour of the shoes. I don't have anything like this in my shoe collection so I am very excited about adding these to my shoe shelf.
I also  got some earrings for my sister, she lives abroad and doesn't have a Primark, and she had been eyeing up some jewellery similar to this on her last trip home. So being the good sister I am I picked these up for her. For £1.50 a pair I think they are great.

Finally I treated myself to anew onsie. Now being the petite 5,1ft I am the adult onsies tend to drown me. So I decided to get a child's one in the hope that it will actually fit, and it was only £8 rather the £12 for an adult one. Now I know it's silly but I thought this bunny suit was sooo cute a looked so warm and snuggly. I am confident it will be well used.

So I spent a small fortune in primark, I plan to try avoid it for a couple of weeks, empahsis on the word try because I know deep down I wont. However I always manage to justify my spending in Primark because its very affordable and I can spend £60 but I have 5-6 outfits. So I can't complain.
