Afternoon tea parties are very popular at the moment, I really wanted to go all out and became a bit obsessed searching ebay for tea party themed decor. However I had to restrain myself slightly as my purse would not allow me to go crazy.
instead I bought banners, bunting and disney themed decorations from tesco and stocked up on plenty of sweets and treats for me and my friends. I spent around £20 on the decorations and my flat did look like a pink princess pad, if I do say so myself.
I found some adorable flags on ebay though which I could not resist the first pack were a selection of pastel flags which Alice in Wonderland themed quotations. The pack of 25 cost me £3.50, plus free package and posting.

The second lots of food decoration I purchased were these casino themed playing card tags. I thought these were perfect for the theme and looked really effective in jam tarts. For a pack of 50 I paid £2.95

I think both of my ebay purchases were fantastic quality and great value for money, they really added something extra to my party spread.
I loved my tea party evening, it was lovely to have a chilled out night drinking and eating with my friends.
I would love to hear about any unique or themed parties you might have planned or attended.
Thanks for reading
